City & Guilds Level Two Award in 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Course outline

This award is ideal for anyone who has experience in computing or engineering manufacturing and design. It is a fantastic opportunity to further their skills and knowledge and progress their career in the field of design. Throughout the duration of this programme you will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • 2D Computer Aided Design
  • An Introduction to 3D Computer Aided Design
  • An Introduction to 3D printing

There are no formal entry requirements however a good understanding of IT equipment and software would be advantageous.

Delivery mode

The course begins on Monday 29th September and will be delivered over 30 weeks within the academic year (Monday evenings, 5pm - 9pm).

Training will be delivered at our Olive Grove campus as face to face learning.

Class size

We are able to accept individuals or deliver training to a group of your employees. Maximum class size is currently 20 delegates however this is subject to review in line with social distancing guidelines.

Price

Prices start from £575 per delegate.

Funding for this course may be available from the Sheffield Skills Bank (subject to availability).
