Course Outline
This course is for people who need the knowledge and skills to operate a wheeled forward tipping dumper.
This course will provide you with knowledge and understanding of:
- Fitting and operating ancillary equipment
- How to operate the machine to a minimum standard
- Safely and efficiently siting the machine
- Preparing the machine for travelling on the public highway
- Knowing which minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures are necessary, and have the ability to carry them out
- Understanding the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine
- Understanding how diesel engines work and how different parts of the machine operate
- Applying all necessary safety precautions
From completing this course you will receive a CPCS Trained Operator Card (red card) and a CITB National Construction College certificate.
