Course Outline
This course is for people who need the knowledge and skills required to attach or work with machinery that requires the operation of quick hitch systems.
This course will provide you with understanding and knowledge in:
- Identifying the risks associated with quick hitch systems
- Performing the operator's legal duties
- Demonstrating safe working practices
- Demonstrating the ability to connect and disconnect attachments
- Demonstrating how to conduct visual inspections
- Carrying out maintenance of quick hitch equipment
- Demonstrating the appropriate methods for testing connections
- Complying with manufacturer’s specification of use
You will upon passing receive an NPORS Operator card. If you require the CSCS logo on the card, this will be a Red Trained Operator NPORS-CSCS card. If you don’t require the CSCS logo, this will be a traditional NPORS card.
